From Allegrium, the makers of Icon Pop Quiz and Icon Pop Brands, we've come to expect the iconic (pun intended) graphics. As is the case here, the icon of the game set the tone. We're really into the modern and artsy pop-art style and this is the perfect setting to get into the mood of of the game.
Usability
A few bars a guitar version of the song is played. You have 14 letters available at the bottom of the screen to help you identify the song or artist and fill in the name. Not as easy as you think, but with clues available to help you, not impossible to complete.
Replay
There are many puzzles to choose from but the motivation to replay inevitably depends on your willingness to pay. There are limited hints available to you for free and ads pop up after every song.
Sound
It's difficult to rate the sound poorly on a music game! The selection of songs includes mostly the latest pop hits, but also a few older tunes. The guitar tunes are of reasonable difficulty to guess.
Conclusion
A fun game for those who enjoy blind test games and pop songs. It would be more fun to play if it wasn't so aggressive with it's method of monetizing freemium so frequently.
